Getting the message across

You're responsible for getting the message across about your products and services to your customers, or to someone else along the distribution chain (dealers, reps, sales people). Maybe it's pre-sales kits, or personalized post-sales kits, new product announcements, pricing notifications. It all falls on you to make sure that these requests are handled on time, every time. And the requests seem to come from everywhere: internal customers, partners, external customers. And each one needs that special attention that may end up in a sale, the ultimate goal of every marketing campaign.

It's enough that you have to worry about making sure the pieces are designed and produced correctly and on schedule.

How is the current way you're handling the distribution of your marketing and sales literature and promotionals working for you?

If it is working for you, great! If not, what's missing? Take a look at the areas listed below and question yourself how effectively you believe you're handling them. If something is missing, how can you fix it yourself, or with your current resources? How would your team decide to do anything about it? And (although there's a lot of information on our site here), how would you know that IFS would be the vendor for you?

  • Do you have a handle on all of your inventory? Can you get accurate product histories? Do you know who-got-what? Can you use the data you now get to arrive at and justify economic order quantities for the next round of print buying?
  • How's your ordering and request system working for you? How labor intensive is it? Can you customize the ways that dealers, customers, partners, and internal clients order from you? What level of control do you have over this, and how easy is it to exert?
  • How easy is it for customers to follow their requests through the system? Can they be tracked without calling someone?
  • Are you using the best shipping methods on a consistent basis?
  • If you're currently putting your own literature together internally, do you have an idea of what it's costing you? Have you compared these costs with the possibility of doing the work outside?
  • If you're currently outsourcing your fulfillment needs, how well is your vendor handling the above areas? And, are you getting a competitive price?

IFS -- The answer?

Honestly, we don't know if what we do will answer your specific needs. But take a look at who we are, our services, and our pricing, and see if what we have to offer may be worth a little investigating on your part. Or just contact us.

Here's our promise. When we listen to you, as client or a prospective client, our goal is service. The outcome of our listening to you is discovery. Our method of asking questions leads you to discover what's going on in your current environment and what, if anything, you can do about it (only you know this). The solution may or may not be a sale. Through our questioning, you may figure out a way to fix it yourself, or with your current resources. That's fine. We don't want to sell our services. We want people to buy them!
